Well, no more Vandetta already…
She just didn’t pass the MOT because of the rust which was a little bit predictable, hihihi! So we’ve been screwed (by Canadians… ah! those Canadians…) Anyway, we’ll buy younger next time!
We still had time to go to Kaikoura, a peninsula north of Christchurch, the best place in NZ to see whales, dolphins and seals (seal is ‘’phoque’’ in French, we don’t pronounce the ‘’ue’’ at the end… you should understand the title, hihi!!) It’s actually amazing how easy it is to see animals up close in NZ in the nature, we saw so many falcons and we almost killed a seal that was sleeping to close to the road! We then went to relax in Hanmer Springs one of the many places where you can dip in natural hot springs. It was quite nice with the mountains surrounding us but the water, sulphurated, was horribly smelly, which was a bit annoying when we realise at the end that the showers were broken…
I heard that the weather is nice in England this summer? hehehehe
