New and improved!

Finally, the horrible cold mornings trying to unfroze our peanut butter are over!! We just moved in a very cosy little house, with probably the best shower in the world in our room, yeeeee! So we have new flatmates, still very international like usual: Chili, Argentina, Germany and… England! Once again, good opportunity to visit new countries, hihi!

We are trying to learn about the New Zealand culture, but we mostly meet people from everywhere except locals… Well, I’m working with one New Zealander girl, and she was telling me that the Christmas tradition is to have a family picnic on the beach, that’s quite different! And also… euh… well, there are ads on telly about medication to treat children’s worms all the time… that’s different as well, hehehe!!!!!

And we have a new van! Well, ok, it’s a 1985, no really much younger and it’s so ugly, but it’s going well so far and we think we’ll be able to ride all around the country with this one (mmmm… hopefully!) We’re sure that in 1985, this van was considered a luxury vehicle, it’s just amazing how many gadgets it has! (possibility to adjust the light of the radio (!), backseats totally independents that can pivoted in all directions, TWO open-roofs, Cooler-heater for beverages in front, AC, etc… plus brown carpet all over the place) The design was probably inspired by a mix of Transformers and Back to the future!!! Notice the mags wheel…
