Mud and letters (?!)

Hi!
We have good news: New Zealand seems to like us! (ouf!)
So after 2 weeks of hard work (!) filling forms with interesting questions such as ''Describe one of your weakness'' (to which Mathieu answered ''cheese cake'', no kidding, hehehe!), we think we might have found a job!!!
I'm a trainee manager for the Lush shop of Christchurch (hand-made beauty and bath products), which is quite nice, especially for the fantastic free samples (see the photo below... Mathieu is not sure about that one!). Actually, I just learned today that it's an English company!
And Mathieu is now a postman on motorbike!! Quite an original job isn't it?! He already sees himself, riding by the sea, under the sun... at minus 5 degrees, with the cold wind blowing in his face... We might need to shop for some long-sleeves underwear... sexy... I'll send some photos if you ask!! hihihi!
Actually, we haven't start to work for real yet, we start this week, but so far so good! We are now looking for a new room to rent, because even though the one we have at the moment is huge, and our flatmates are very friendly, the kitchen and the bathroom are so cold, that we produce some fog with our breath when we talk... seriously! Frozen peanut butter is not easy to spread on toasts in the morning.
Touristy bit: we went walking on an beautiful beach by the sea a few days ago, and it was only 10 min by bus from our place. Great! Mathieu is tempted by the surf right now, can't believe we are gonna become sportives for real!
So that's it for the moment, thanks again for you comments, it's really fun to read them! We have now a guest map, so if you want to place a pin that indicates where you're from, please feel free to do so!
Give us some news, keep in touch!
Nat Mat xx
When you look at the photo of me with the Lush book, you can tell I'm a devoted person. I'm ready to sacrifice my self-esteem just for the sake of my job (and my skin!) I should offer my image as a publicity for the company...hehehe! My God... That photo will probably end up in very strange webites...
